Pupil and Sports Premium

The Pupil Premium is a grant schools receive to support children.  The purpose of the grant is to:

  • close the attainment gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers
  • support pupils with parents in the armed forces.

Schools receive money for each pupil who qualifies. These include children who receive free school meals and children in care.

The school chooses how to use the grant to best support each individual child. The aim is to improve pupils’ progress and attainment so that they can reach their full potential.

Our Pupil Premium report shows:

  • the funding for this school year 2020-21
  • how we used the funding in the last school year 2019-20
  • how we measure the impact of the funding
  • how we plan to spend the funding this school year
