SEND INFORMATION

 

Tollgate’s SEND Information Report and Local Offer, aim to detail our ‘School Offer’ to children and families who have a need for SEND provision. We have anticipated questions that parents may have and have answered them as concisely as possible. Should you require any additional information, please feel free to contact the SENCo (Tim Walsh) or your child’s class teacher- we would be more than happy to discuss with you any questions which you may have.

Support and Information & Useful links

ISEND

ISEND have developed a page to provide links to the Local Offer and Facebook pages. It provides families with links to receive direct and daily updated resources to support them at home with their children and young people with SEND. https://localoffer.eastsussex.gov.uk/

 

ISEND CLASS+

The ISEND CLASS+ team continue to support families of children and young people with Autism. The team are engaging with families by providing information, resources and advice for parents/carers.

For families that may be finding this time difficult, please contact CLASS+ by calling the CLASS number on 01273 336887. Contact information will be taken and passed to the CLASS+ team who will then get in touch with the parent/carer.

In addition, the weekly advice line runs every Monday 10am- 1pm on the above number, when parents/carers can talk directly to a CLASS+ practitioner.

A range of resources and information is also being shared on the CLASS+ Facebook page to further support parents/carers. This can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/CLASSPlusEastSussex/

The ISEND Facebook page is providing daily activities and support for families to access and share within the SEND community. You can find them by searching @ISENDEastSussex on Facebook.

 

i-go Scheme

East Sussex County Council run the i-go scheme for young people with SEND or disabilities. It’s a free card that gives discounts to leisure and activity providers across East Sussex. To find out more, visit https://igo.eastsussex.gov.uk/
